The Tibbetts Family Farm greenhouses are located at the corners of the Clarks Woods and South Waterboro Roads in Lyman Maine. Since we grow our own plants, we can offer you a wider selection of varieties than you might find elsewhere. In May, you will find our greenhouses full of vegetable seedlings, annuals and herbs. You may choose from old-fashioned heirlooms or more modern disease resistant hybrids.
We also carry a variety of pre-made hanging baskets and containers for your convenience and enjoyment. We are also happy to put together a custom planter for you, either in one of our containers, or you can bring in your favorite.
The outside of the greenhouses are lined with perennials. You will find your grandmothers favorites such as: foxglove, columbine and hollyhocks as well as hosta and designer daylilies. We offer several sizes of perennials to suit your needs, from economical six packs and four inch pots to large established gallon containers.
Bagged Barnyard Blend compost is available, as well as bulk compost, loam and bark mulch.
Please don’t be afraid to ask us questions. Gardening is a large investment of your time and money and we would like to do everything we can to make it as successful and enjoyable as possible. See us in the greenhouses or you can email Sue at susan@tibbettsfamilyfarm.com with your questions.
