Our Barnyard Blend Compost is a mix of farm animal manure and bedding which is blended according to our own recipe. Following this recipe provides a consistent product with each batch, so our customers can be sure that they are getting a great product time after time.
After blending, the manure is piled into windrows. The windrows are then monitored for temperature and turned accordingly until the product is ready.
At the end of this process, we do a maturity test and if ready, it is screened for uniformity. Our finished product is a wonderful earthy smelling material that can be used in containers, as a top dress, or incorporated into your current soil.
Our compost is offered for sale at our greenhouse in bags or bulk. For your convenience we also offer bulk delivery of two or more yards.
